Focused on development, special events, campus involvement, membership and stewardship, Student Endowment Board committees give members a glimpse into the entire philanthropic process. Each committee has its own responsibilities and goals, but work together to better KU Endowment and the University of Kansas.
The
Executive Committee is responsible for setting the goals of the Student Endowment Board. It meets regularly to evaluate each member of the organization and goal progress, as well as organize the bi-weekly general meetings.
The
Development Committee coordinates all fundraising efforts, including the annual Student Leadership Award. It works with all other committees to ensure fundraising goals are met.
The
Special Events Committee directs its efforts toward developing leadership and involvement on KU’s campus in order to increase communication, education and enthusiasm about private giving.
The
Marketing Committee promotes the Student Endowment Board to increase communication, education and enthusiasm within the student body about private giving. It works with other campus offices to involve Student Endowment Board in on-campus activities.
The
Membership Committee develops and coordinates recruitment activities, member orientation and internal relations while maintaining member morale and enthusiasm.
The
Stewardship Committee upholds relationships with alumni, students, KU Endowment, donors and the local community. It is committed to retaining strong connections to help gain scholarship donations for deserving KU students.
