Your gift to the KU School of Nursing can make the difference for students who are dedicating their lives to helping others.

Since 1906, the school has been educating registered nurses to care for patients in a variety of clinical settings. These days, the school is internationally renowned for outstanding academic programs. Graduates are in great demand, filling critical roles in clinical nursing across the spectrum of health care.

The school’s central mission is to develop tomorrow’s leaders in the health-care industry through the integration of teaching, patient care and research. A new online Ph.D. program is helping the school better meet the needs of busy students.

The school strives to attract the best and brightest, and thus scholarships are vital as well as unrestricted funds to use in research laboratories.

Donations of any size can make a difference. Even small amounts given over time can accumulate to create substantial resources for the school.

You will be recognized as a member of the School of Nursing Deans Club by making a minimum gift of $1,000 on an annual basis for any purpose within the school. You can divide your gift into monthly installments.

Major gifts can establish endowed funds that can be named for you or for someone else and provide financial support for the campus in perpetuity.

Our development director will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift or making another kind of gift. You may view a brief video below by pressing play about the school's past, present and future.
