The University of Kansas Medical Center is on a mission to discover the mysteries of the brain and to combat neurological disorders. Your gift can help the medical center’s physicians and scientists improve brain health.
The mission is three-pronged.
- To enhance research in the field of brain health
- To provide outstanding patient care for persons with neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and Parkinson’s disease
- To train the next generation of health care providers and scientists interested in the neurosciences
Neurosciences at KU includes the Hoglund Brain Imaging Center, the Developmental Disabilities Center and the Alzheimer & Memory Center. The Steve Palermo Endowment Fund helps University of Kansas researchers search for cures to the devastation of spinal cord injury.
If you give now, you can help:
- Fund a chair or professorship in brain health or Parkinson’s disease research
- Contribute to a research project on epilepsy
- Underwrite the cost of stroke education and outreach programs
Donations of any size can help you experience the joy of giving. Even small amounts given over time can build to create substantial resources.
Major gifts can have a substantial impact. These include large outright gifts that are expendable and endowed funds. Endowed funds are invested to provide financial support for KU in perpetuity. The funds can be named for yourself or someone you wish to honor.
Our development director will be happy to assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift, making another kind of gift or answering your questions. You can also give online using your credit card to support:
