School of Architecture and Urban Planning  Make A Gift  Contact Us

Your gift to the School of Architecture and Urban Planning supports scholarships and innovative programs, helping prepare students for careers that strengthen our communities.

The school offers nationally known programs that serve more than 700 students at KU. In fall 2007, it will implement fully graduate professional degrees in architecture, including the first Ph.D. program in the school’s history.

Studio 804, the school’s design/build capstone course, has won numerous national awards for innovation, practice and affordability.

Other current initiatives include the New Orleans (7th Ward) Neighborhood Resource Center, a studio partnership with Tulane University; and the Multicultural Architectural Scholars Program, which provides mentoring, academic feedback and career development assistance to students from diverse backgrounds.

Donations of any size can make a difference. Even small amounts given over time can accumulate to create substantial resources for the school.

You will be recognized as a member of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning Deans Club by making a minimum gift of $1,000 on an annual basis for any purpose within the school. You can divide your gift into monthly installments.

Major gifts can establish endowed funds that can be named for you or for someone else and provide financial support for the school in perpetuity.

Our development director will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift or making another kind of gift. You can also use your credit card to give online to support:
