After 14 years of service to the University of Kansas, Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway stepped down from the post on June 30, 2009. During his tenure as chancellor, the university has reached record enrollments, increased the diversity of faculty, students and staff, and significantly increased research productivity, among other accomplishments.

Members of the KU community who would like to honor the chancellor’s service may make a commemorative gift to the KU General Scholarships Fund.
