Leave a Legacy, One Brick at a Time
“Rooted in the Blue, Towering Toward the New” — Class of 2010
Since 1873, graduates have left their legacy at the University of Kansas by joining fellow classmates in giving to the Senior Class Gift campaign. Commemorate the years spent and memories made at KU by participating in one of the oldest traditions on The Hill.
Celebrate commencement by leaving your legacy with a personalized engraved brick in the Class Legacy Walk, located near the Rain Garden at the Ambler Student Recreation Center. Individual bricks are available through a tax-deductible gift to the Senior Class Gift campaign.
What is the Class of 2010 Gift?
All proceeds from the 2010 Senior Class Gift brick campaign will be used to provide scholarship support to future students.
How is the class gift chosen each year?
Each year, the class gift is chosen by members of the Board of Class Officers and the Senior Advisory Board.
Why should I give to the Senior Class Gift Campaign?
It is not only a way to show your commitment to and support for the university, but also an opportunity to leave your legacy for generations to come! Your participation – no matter how large or small your gift may be – is important to our Senior Class Gift Campaign!
Can I honor a graduate, friend, family member, or roommate by purchasing a personalized brick?
Absolutely! When your gift arrives, the individual will receive a letter letting them know that you made a gift or purchased a brick to the 2010 Senior Class Gift Campaign in their honor. What better way to say ‘thanks’ to someone who has made a difference in your life?
