School of Social Welfare  Make A Gift  Contact Us

For more than 60 years, the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare has been working to improve the lives of some of our most vulnerable citizens by providing leadership in professional social work education, as well as cutting-edge research that addresses urgent social problems in our communities.

Our social work program is consistently ranked in the top ten nationally among programs in public universities by U.S. News & World Report. Those who employ our graduates indicate a high level of satisfaction with the professional preparation they have received.

The school remains committed to providing a progressive, ever-dynamic program of study that ensures that our graduates will enter the field prepared to work with competence, dedication and compassion in an array of social service settings.

Donations of any size can make a difference. Even small amounts given over time can accumulate to create substantial resources for the school.

You will be recognized as a member of the School of Social Welfare's Deans Club by making a minimum gift of $1,000 on an annual basis for any purpose within the school. You may choose to divide your gift into monthly installments.

Major gifts can establish endowed funds, which can be named for you or for someone else. These funds provide financial support for the school in perpetuity.

Our development director will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift or making another kind of gift. You can also use a credit card to give now online:
