Your gift to the School of Education helps to educate future teachers, administrators, counselors, psychologists, and health and sport professionals.
U.S. News and World Report: America’s Best Graduate Schools ranks the school’s graduate programs 15th in the country among public institutions. The Department of Special Education ranks number one in the nation, and the secondary education program ranks 19th.
KU offers the state’s only extended teacher education program, which requires 20 weeks of student teaching and internship plus 15 hours of graduate course work beyond the bachelor’s degree.
The school enrolls more than 2,000 students each year. It contains five departments: Curriculum and Teaching; Educational Leadership and Policy Studies; Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences; Psychology and Research in Education; and Special Education. All programs are accredited.
Donations of any size can make a difference. Even small amounts given over time can accumulate to create substantial resources for the school.
You will be recognized as a member of the School of Education Deans Club by making a minimum gift of $1,000 on an annual basis for any purpose within the school. You can divide your gift into monthly installments.
Major gifts can establish endowed funds that can be named for you or for someone else and provide financial support for the campus in perpetuity.
