The KU School of Medicine is committed to enhancing the quality of life and serving the community by improving public health, educating the next generation of health professionals and supporting cutting-edge research by world-renowned scientists. With an enrollment of about 1,700 students, the school is a regional leader in health profession education and has built a strong reputation of professional diversity and clinical excellence.

It is the No. 1 school in the country for producing family physicians. More than 80 percent of the school’s entering physicians are Kansas residents. In turn, many of our graduates return to practice in the state’s underserved areas. In 2006, the KU School of Medicine received full accreditation with an eight-year cycle, the longest awarded, from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

Gifts of any size can make a difference. Small amounts will accumulate over time to create substantial resources for the school. Our development director will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift, or making another kind of gift.
