Your gift to the KU School of Law will help us fulfill our mission to provide our students with a high-quality, affordable legal education.
With your help, no talented and qualified Kansan who dreams of becoming a lawyer will have to leave Kansas to receive a superior legal education, and no KU Law graduate will have her career choices dictated by a heavy burden of law-school debt.
KU Law is a special place. Describing their faculty, our students told the Princeton Review, “An open-door policy is the norm, not an exception.” Describing our program of legal education, students said, “Opportunities for practical experience abound, including many clinical programs and an outstanding number of clerkship and internship opportunities.”
Law classes were first taught at KU in 1878. The KU School of Law has a long history of preparing students to practice law and helping them gain the knowledge to develop the skills they need to right wrongs, resolve disputes and stand against injustice. That legal education is increasingly expensive.
Donations of any size can make a difference. Even small amounts given over time can accumulate to create substantial resources for the school.
Major gifts can establish endowed funds that can be named for you or for someone else and provide financial support for the school in perpetuity.
You will be recognized as a member of the School of Law Deans Club by making a minimum gift of $1,000 annually for any purpose within the school. You can divide your gift into monthly installments.
Our development director will be happy to answer your questions and assist you in creating an endowed fund, setting up a planned gift or making another kind of gift. You can also use your credit card to give now online and help us provide:
