Future engineers, architects, musicians and scientists are among the 16 students who have received top honors as the 2006-2007 Chancellors Club Scholars at the University of Kansas.
Of the honorees, eight graduated from Kansas high schools and eight from out-of-state high schools. They are all National Merit finalists with outstanding high school achievement and leadership records. Each receives a renewable scholarship from the Chancellors Club.
The Chancellors Club, the major-donor organization at KU Endowment, has awarded the scholarships since 1979, and this year’s additional students bring the total number of students receiving the scholarships to 260.
