Because of their inherent flexibility, these gifts enable the university to take advantage of unexpected opportunities and meet unforeseen needs. Moreover, they strengthen virtually every facet of KU, including:
- Outstanding teaching. The Greater KU Fund rewards faculty who excel through inspiring teaching, innovative techniques and thoughtful mentoring.
- Student scholarships. Without financial assistance, many deserving students could not afford a KU education. Your gift can help transform a life.

Annual donors of at least $1,000 to the Greater KU Fund are recognized as members of the Chancellors Club. Donors 35 years old or younger can become Associate Members with a $500 gift.
Major gifts can establish endowed funds, which can be named for a donor or for someone the donor wishes to honor. The Chancellors Club staff will be happy to assist you with a Named Endowed Opportunity Fund through a major gift to the Greater KU Fund.
