Donor Recognition | Giving Societies | Bell Legacy Society
The Bell Legacy Society was established in 2004 to recognize donors who have made estate gifts or other deferred gifts to The University of Kansas Hospital. The society honors Dr. Simeon Bell who, in 1894, donated money and land for the medical school’s first hospital in memory of his wife, Eleanor.
Donors to this planned giving society can designate their gift to a specific area.
If you give now, you can help the hospital work toward fulfilling its goals of providing the utmost patient care, leading research and the education of future healthcare providers. Your gift can help:
- Assist patients who are uninsured or face financial hardship;
- Provide the latest technology for diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation;
- Provide continuing staff education for nurses or other healthcare providers, technicians or staff.
You may also direct your gift to support a specific unit or department to meet any of the needs listed above.
Donations can help you experience the joy of giving. Your support is vital to our efforts.
