President’s welcome

It’s my privilege to serve as a leader of KU Endowment - a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to raise and manage private funds on behalf of KU. At a time when state financing covers less than a quarter of KU’s total operating expenses, private gifts are increasingly crucial to virtually all activities of the university.

Founded in 1891, KU Endowment was the first such foundation serving a public university in the United States.
